Here is a right and proper instrument with a cancel that reads "C. R. R. Co., of N.J."
The instrument was drawn for Car Service in Oct 1899.
The first scan is of the entire front of the instrument in question.

The second scan is of the orientation of the cancel on the stamp itself, notice I've enhanced it.

The enhanced scan shows various locations with a blue tint, guess this is just part of the enhancement process maybe.
