552 (flat plate sheet stamp with straight edge) or 552a (flat plate booklet stamp). It depends on whether the stamp has a wove paper vertical grain (sheet) or wove paper horizontal grain (booklet) that can be seen on its back. |

Looks like a horizontal grain in the paper to me. Thus, 552a booklet stamp. |

Can you point out where you see horizontal grains? I think I see one at the ninth perforation on the left.??

Uh oh Does that mean your example is gumless? If so, can you see the dots (lines) on gummed stamps like the 552a with a bright light?

Yes it is gumless and you can see ones with gum if you place a light to shine through the front to see the back. |
