Interesting. I can't find it in Stanley Gibbons Catalog (1970ed.) either.

Welcome to the forum sandy0646! The wording "STAMP DUTY" tells you that this is a revenue stamp. So, this stamp indicates that a tax or fee was paid, and not postage. You will encounter a lot of revenue stamp collectors on this site.

I've always said that one comes to like/love those who are about them.

Before arriving here, I used to ask myself, "Who in the hell would collect revenue stamps?"
