I just got off the phone with Harmer-Schau. You do not have to be registered for the APS show in order to bid on the floor of the H-S auction. You will gain admittance to the room where the bidding takes place by a separate controlled access door off the main lobby, whether during show hours or not.
Those who expect to be late in arriving, have no fear. If you can get into the building at all, you can get into the auction while it is in session.
