Should I run another StampJack contest or are you tired of it?

Hmm.... This is actually hard to come up with an idea.... lol... I just realised that most coin contest cannot apply to stamps... Cause stamps aren't exactly made of silver... |

Finally, it's weekend  As for the contest, I'm all for it t360. Here is my idea, btw: Stamp identification contest: A picture showing a part of the stamp is posted and a series of hints provided. The first one to identify the stamp wins. |

Actually, ami03's idea is a really good one.  Show about a third or half of the stamp with no denomination or country visible. That should take some research and might last awhile. If hints are needed, they could be handed out over time - one a day or somethig. It would certainly be interesting!  |

That's a great idea, amitvyas03. With StampJack, it seemed people were posting for the wrong reasons and it was, as suggested, starting to look like spam. It seemed to be changing the whole tone and direction of the board for a time, but that's just my opinion. Besides, I think Tom has probably run out of catalogs, unless he'll be putting up that set of 2007's he just won on ebay!  |
