At work today a priority mail window sleeve arrived with a #10 cover that had the FOON Arizona $0.42 and Mount Rushmore priority mail $4.80 stamps with a nice red circular date hand cancel tieing each to the cover. My co-worker whom received it asked if I would like it for my stamp collection. I promptly replied "Yes". That made my day and I had to tell everyone before I got off work in 4 hours.

Cool score, stamperdude.
Those higher values are tough to get on cover.

Yes they are. Bonus, it will fit in with my Lincoln collection because of the Mt. Rushmore stamp. It is definetely a keeper. I'll have to keep it with the outer Priority Mail window cover to help postal historians with the reason for the actual postage used. LOL |

Good on ya mate that's good to hear they would be a nice addition to your cover collection,I surprised my Postmaster the other day when I went in early for my first day covers,She had to scurry around looking for them (there was a long cue of people waiting) as they weren't put aside for me,I just smiled and said sorry I was in early and thanked her before I left. Easter Saturday this way so I'm relaxing with the stamps and coins to keep me interested. regards To all Harry |

OOPS! I forgot the cover in my desk. Maybe I'll stop in tomorrow and pick it up in the morning. I knew there was something else I wanted to scan for show and tell. LOL |

Thats great, stamperdude! That will be nice with your Lincoln's. I'd like to see it.
At my college the other day, an express mail envelope had the Old Faithful stamp on it, but it was ripped in two! The pull tab to open the envelope is right down the middle of it. I saw something on this also in the APS magazine (which I got today!) about this problem with those envelopes. That stamp is $17.50 also, so thats a loss! And my P.O. doesn't have them, I was so upset! The secretary is keeping stamps they get for me, so thats awesome! Its a small school, though, and most everything they get is meter mail, so its not as many stamps as you would think. |

Stefani It is great that you have someone to set aside stamps for you. The cover we received was the small priority mail envelope which doesn't have the pull tab. My work doesn't get very much mail either and if it has a stamp it's usually a Forever or a Flag. I would love to have a contact at a payment processing center. |
