back on topic...
This is another ink illusion playing with us. The right serif of the "T" is exaggerated in the design. The combination of that, with some under-inking and even a bit of cancel are turning the serif into a rather weak second "T" here. Design in yellow; illusion in red.

sometimes if I think something is odd I scan at the highest dpi I can ( for me 1200 but you may have higher) it seems way less confusing than back when I only had a magnafying glass.

Glad to have you here. Please allow me to suggest that you acquire a scanner. You are doing exceptionally well with your posted images, but a scanner allows for much much more. Nearly anything that you could pick up from a yard sale would work well. As with most things, be weary of any punny business about the seller's behavior.
