Hello,

I have a collection of 1890-1940 stamps I would like appraised. I keep missing the local stamp show. Is there anyone in my area that may be able to meet me somewhere to look at my collection.

Thank you.

Heidivee, if you are looking for someone in a local stampclub, go to www.stamps.org
This is the website of the largest stamp club in the world, and they list stampclubs in all parts of the US on their website.

From the ASDA Membership Directory: Mitchell Kopkin, Ft. Lauderdale tropstamps@aol.com Earl Reeder, Kissimmee etreeder@cfl.rr.com John Latter, Orlando jlatter@cfl.rr.com I've no idea if they appraise, but if not, they may be able to steer you in the right direction. Those were the closest to where you live that I found. There is also Randall (Randy) Shoemaker in either Miami or Melborne. He is listed in Miami in one place and Melborne in another. He owns PSAG, INC. which is a stamp expertizing and grading service. I'm sure he doesn't do appraisals, but again, he might be able to advise you who to contact. randyshoemaker@gmail.com Hope this helps you.

Heidivee there is a rather good brick and mortar stamp shop called Treasure Coast Stamp in Fort Pierce. He is very active on most of the major auction sites and sells quality world wide material in all price ranges.

I know all 3 dealers mentioned above and none are a great choice for a world wide appraisal. If you have mainly US and Canada, Tropical Stamps is a very good choice though a much longer drive for you than Fort Pierce. If the collection is mainly Commonwealth John Latter can do appraisals and is very solid in Commonwealth.

Treasure Coast's website is treasurecoaststamps.com which has their contact info and directions . Best of luck!

Thanks. Fort Pierce is only an hour drive. I used to go down there for a weekly auction they had.
