I have a stamp I can't identify. It is a green Franklin 1 cent, Scott type A155. What has me confused is the perfs. The top is perf 11, while the left side is perf 10.5. Right and bottom are straight edge (no perfs). I have measured the perfs with two different perf guides and the measurements come out the same. They aren't even just close, but, rather, dead-on. Thoughts?

Thanks,

Alan

You have everything you need to identify the stamp right there. Type A155 with perf 11x10.5 has to be Scott 632. The two straight edges identify it further as being the lower right stamp from the booklet pane of six (632a).

Or it could be the 100th stamp in the upper left pane on a sheet. All the stamps in black have 1 or 2 straight edges depending on the position on the sheet. The stamps came in sheets of 400 and were cut into 4 panes of 100 each, yours could be the last stamp on the upper left pane.

Stupid me. I just didn't look farther in my Scott catalogue.

Thanks.
