Came across this going through bundleware and was surprised. It appears to be a stitch watermark. Hard to photograph a stamp in watermarking fluid hence the cropped image. The stamp is sound but only centered fine with moderate cancel. Complete fluke that I caught it.

Runs the full vertical length of stamp.

my guess would be a seam in thr paper when they were making it for the sheets

Stitch watermarks are caused by the stitching together of the conveyor belts upon which the paper was made from pulp. Paper Manufacturers generally tried to keep them off the final product sold to the customer but some sheets were sold with the stitch watermarks at the edges of the sheets of paper.

You would find that your stamp is from a row or column at the edge of the sheet, in your case, the right or left edge.
