Traffic towers have come and, more/less, gone ... but their postcards live on!

First up: a traffic tower in mid-town New York City.

Dating? http://www.metropostcard.com/publishersm1.html ... Don't let that car fool you. The Metropolitan Postcard Club database offers 1928-1974 for the Manhattan Post Card Publishing Company.

IkeyPikey, I have seen the mobile kind in action. Sometimes used in parking lots by security. I have seen them get in and out of those easily - just lower the cabin. But how did the cop get in that tall one? I do not see any steps, and I have never seen a real one!
