I found this among my father's stuff. I'm not a US collector and wondered if someone could give me the Scott's number and a value which probably is minimal for the coil pair. Interestingly the perfs on the left stamp cut ever so slightly into the stamp design.

I think it is Scott 839. Value is minimal.

I agree. 839, the 1c Presidential horizontal coil. Probably purchased from a vending machine, accounting for the straight edge at right.
