At the Lancopex this weekend, had an interesting chatter about the Green Cancels on #1's.

Per the dealer, these are very rare and the cancels are only used at two post offices in US, making them spectacular..

Does anyone have any leads on that note?

If you have a Scott catalog( and you should if you collect older US ) you can see that a green cancel is indeed very much rarer than others. As a matter of fact, both green and red are very good ones.

I like red cancels on US #1. Red cancels are more common than black on this issue.

Red is the most commonly seen cancel on 1847s.

As far as green cancels go, the two most commonly seen are Tallahassee, FL and Princeton, NJ (Not that either are common) but other locations exist, I recall seeing them from at least 3 other locations; Towns in Delaware and New Hampshire and Lockport, NY come to mind.
