Stamp ID Value..any Suggestions Are Welcome

Do you have a Scott catalog and/or tried to ID these stamps and having difficulty? Some early US stamps require a bit of study and a catalog will greatly help you in understanding these interesting stamps. Previous years catalog can be had at a large discount and you can always use web site like Stamp Smarter ( http://www.stampsmarter.com/ )to assist with IDing your stamps.

I don't know about the black and white essay in the middle but none of the other stamps look particularly valuable. The last stamp might be a Scott #145 - worth around $5 if it is. It doesn't appear to have a grill or the secret mark but the scan is not completely revealing. The railroad stamp comes from a popular series known as the Pictorials. It was the first series with something other than people but before the idea of "commemorative" was introduced. So there is always interest in those, though this is pretty off center, so it wouldn't get more than a couple bucks.

The 1-cent black in the middle is from a postcard ... UX4 if watermarked, UX5 if not watermarked. CV for UX4 is $350, for UX5 45-cents. You can probably guess which one it is. Scott indicates the watermark is in the monogram and measures 53x36mm. Not sure where the monogram is on these cards.
Added: Scott also warns that the watermark can be "dim", presumably difficult to detect.
