I am thinking that I have some countries that have so many stamp, they won't all fit into my albums allotted space. I thinking of using stock books as small albums. Some I saw has plastic so would be pretty good protection. I'm sure I'm not the first with this idea. How did it work out for you. Any downers?

Thanks!
Jay

Jay:

I use Vario stock pages for the varieties of my King George VI collection. I find I can mix and match sizes and I can move pages around.

To annotate the collection, I use MS Word and create a table. Then I put the text in a small box, print it out, cut it out, and place it below the stamp. Such boxes say things like "Perf. 12 x 14", "Red-Brown", "Fishhook Variety", etc.

I hope this helps you.

David

David's idea is a great one. He's a genius. I do the same thing with my "non-rectangular" collection.
