For some months I have been receiving Linn's Stamp Newsletter to the inbox of an email address I rarely use. Once a month it arrived until recently, then once a week. I had a quick look at this newsletter on occasion but did not pay too much attention......until the last one.
The announcement of the death of Karl Malden quickly got my attention as I had not heard of this sad event. He was a very wonderful actor and the news saddened me somewhat. I was quite surprised to learn that he was highly revered in the US stamp community and that he was a long time collector.
But what surprised me even more was what happened next.
By a fluke I clicked on the newsletter, you could say my finger slipped, and HEY PRESTO! the newsletter became Linns Stamp weekly !!

. The whole paper, free in the inbox of an email I hardly open. So I checked back and I found 5 further copies in their entirety, since June 17 I have been receiving them.
When I found the first copy, I checked closer and read that "your subscription to Linn's stamp News is sponsored by Amos Advantage". It went on to say that they were suppliers of Collectors accessories.
I have never heard of them and how did I manage to get a digital subscription in this way??
Could it be only temporary as a Advertisement??
It seems strange to me.
Anyway, it is a good read so now I have some catching up to do.
Has anyone else had this good fortune ??
Or know about Amos Advantage??
