Hello all at Stamp Community Family SCF,
since I am now a pensioner my passion for collecting stamps had come back after a break of 25 years - but the bug got me again.

Hope to find people with the same interest in my collecting areas as well as some advise, help, and info when needed. Looking forward to swap from my stocks. Have plenty of washed commemoratives kiloware from the UK.

My main interest are used stamps worldwide from each country's no. 1 up to the year 1900 max. Not particular the expensive ones, but affordable ones back as far as possible. Being on a states pension my financial resources are more than limited .....
I like the vintage designs, as well as the 'touch of time' on those old stamps. Many of them telling stories of what we most probably already forgot.

Also I collect specialised the UK's Machin series with all aspects possible.

Started recently to collect in particular stamps of Great Britain's colonies as part of my worldwide 'oldies' collection.

Another serious collecting is the postal history of my ex-hometown of MANNHEIM, GERMANY. Here I'm back with mailed letters until the year 1723 (all the mail getting out of Mannheim, or mailed within the city, bearing MANNHEIM postmarks - not incomming mail! to limit the available space for my collections).

Looking forward to blend in.
With best regards from London,
wildbrush

I'm trying to get here my Machin-avatar
