I have been talking with Apfelbaum, but I found a lot of negative reviews and comments. I have a large collection: some 40 Kabe, Lighthouse, Safe hingeless album and a wide variety of stock books, updates from early 2000's and update pages - 9 vol France (1st page has about 10K cat value, maybe 15k - also feuillets 1 and 2 - cat val. 4-7K, 9 volumes Russia, 3 or 4 volumes Germany, 2Volumes Bermuda, 3 volumes Baltics, 2 or 3 volumes Liechtenstein - Canada Yearbooks complete 1987-2016, much more (as they say)- I would like advice please as to where to go. Do buyers ever come to the Boston area? Thank you for any response.

One of the Apfelbaums had me call him, and he said that I had to send the collection in, though he would send me labels to cover UPS. When I asked about just bringing in the stuff, I found out that they are in the Philly suburbs. He suggested I drive there by way of Binghampton NY.

Apfelbaum came to my father's home in Chicago bought the collection on the spot. I I just received a card from Apfelbaum saying they will be in my area and can appraise, buy, auction, ship the collection. I am in California. I receive this card offering their service for 50 years +. However, I do not recommend selling on the spot. Auction will bring a better price. Also, I am not a fan of Apfelbaum and do not recommend.

They travel the country in areas and I guess they will not be in your area for a while and suggested you send in collection at their cost. A lot of work packing though.

Kelleher is also bring in or free shipping usually to their Connecticut main office. Not sure what services the Newton office offers.

Thank you so much. No wonder you are a Pillar of the Community. Apfelbaum actually wants me to box ething and send it. When I inquired about bringing itin, I found he's in the Philly suburbs - he recommended that I get there by going thru Binghampton NY, making a 4.5 hr trip into 7.5 hours. I do not get it.
