as long as the Mexican peasants of the late 19th century and early 20th century were allowed a patch of corn so they would not starve to death they would work and not revolt..as hacendados took the corn patch land for their own purposes the peasants could starve or grab a rifle that was handed out...its amazing what I can deal with as long as no one bothers my STAMPS !!
