It's been a while since signing up and only lurking here! I'm a general worldwide collector/accumulator with emphasis on Germany, Europe, and unusual worldwide stuff. Accumulating a decent stock of postal history to about 1940. The more unusual markings the better. Particularly I'm fond of old hotel, other advertising covers/cards, postage due covers, POW/Feldpost, Registered and Censored material.

I've collected nonstop for 47 of my 57 years and like to dabble in odd lots, non-philatelic covers picked up online as well as some auction houses. One day I might exhibit stamp dealer postal history (I like old dealers' advertising covers, pricelists/postcard pricelists, Roessler covers et al). I used to post regularly on stampboards(dot)com so when I get time I'll post here.

Welcome to the forum. I also just recently joined, am 57 and have collected since I was 7.

I have 10,000 + covers as well as shelves of albums/pages of stamps accumulated. My specialty has been US Scott #U58 and U59 Postal Stationery with fancy cancels, Illustrated Advertising, Service Markings, Unusual Uses and Western Waterway Packet Steamboat use

I also started to go through my stash to pull out machine cancels up to 1920 so I can organize and mount them in albums...Mike
