Trying to find info about this red colored provisional stamp. Can only find black ones online....

Your stamp is clipped from the 1947 souvenir sheet, Scott 948.

Official announcement card mentioning the souvenir sheet in the second paragraph.




Pad cover with partial remains of the paper bands wrapping around the bundle.




Cover to Italy, sent in 1955, quite a late use.
