The concealed/microprinted letters in the Bartrams stamp spells 'botanists'. This can be seen with a magnifying glass. I hear this is to help prevent forgeries. The first recent stamps are the 29 cent American Wildflowers, with dots in the 29s. Scott 2647-2696. The just issued Zion Park stamp has USPS as a microprint.

Great Britain has a lot of stamps with micro-printing.....many difficult to spot with a magnifying glass.

I use a Lumagny 30x with focus wheel, illuminated.

As a Flag collector, I am interested in the Micro-printing on the USA Definitive series'. Just spotted a few on the 37c series, not easy especially if postmark is over the spot. Used regular magnifier for these though.

Interesting.

Londonbus1....not interesting at all.

I took a picture with my digital blue microscope of a penny it has 10x,60x,200x to show that this microscope would be excellent for this microprinting
