With a $100,000.99 starting bid and only two days left,
I am trying to control myself, and not buy this stamp.

But the seller is offering free shipping. You'd think such a valuable piece would go registered mail. I've had a few conversations with this seller on other bogus listings and she simply doesn't care and argued everything I showed her.

Now I see the blue/green spoken of in the sub title.

This is the seller who offered at least eight "laid paper" examples on ebay spoken of in this thread,

We laugh, rightly so, at sellers like this. But they do lot of damage to our hobby.

I've contacted other sellers like this in the past; none of them, of course, collect themselves. Usually they are folks who haunt estate sales, put what they find on ebay, throw it st the wall and see if it sticks. They know nothing about stamps and waste everyone's time and patience on this worthless stuff.

Did anyone else note this comment in her listing:

'It has a published catalog value, that professional philatelists use to determine current market value.'

Of course she didn't list the catalog # or value. Probably she just thought this would add to the aura of this listing.

I can't help but wonder if some random dealer might make such a listing just in order to attract attention to themselves, and their other auctions.

They might not realize that most of the attention that they'll get is bad, but maybe its just a way of getting people to notice their listings.

I have never posted this but I know for a fact that this seller bids on her own stuff through at least one other account. I wouldn't be surprised if she bids with other accounts too.
