I was just looking up a Hong Kong stamp in the Scott's catalog, turned out to be # 214. Then I noticed several variations involving color omissions and orientation of the watermark. After a bit of looking at the stamp, I can see a crown that looks aligned with the stamp (crown top points in the same direction as the queen's head). However, I cannot for the life of me find the sample image of watermark 314, the supposed watermark of this stamp. It is not at the beginning of the Hong Kong section nor (as I had hoped) at the beginning of the Great Britain section. Anyone know where it is and if there is a centralized place in Scott's where they are shown or indexed?

Because it is a common watermark, Scott has centralized it near the front of every catalog.

Look in the table of contents for "British Colonial and Crown Agents Watermarks". It's usually the last page in the Introductory Section (i.e., the xxA pages).

If you still have trouble finding it, post again and I will upload the watermark for you.
