Went to a yardsale this weekend and hit a jackpot. They had two large boxes with assorted size 3 ring binders, Seeing as I print my own albums off of stampalbums.com I figured I would buy a few if they were cheap enough. When I asked how much they said $2 which I thought was a little steep for used binders, until she said "for all of them". I bought 30 assorted size binders for 2 bucks!
I love garage sales, but you gotta go to a lot of them before you find anything as good as that.
The missus and I were out last Saturday and hit about seven of them. I didn't see anything worth buying, but she picked up a pair of tall Tupperware "Hourglass" Salt and Pepper shakers, and a Tupperware Gravy Shaker (also works good for milkshakes), and at the last one we stopped at, about 15 English toffee metal boxes from the '50s, all in nice shape. Total spent: $5.50.
