These are 2 of my favorites that I have owned. Sold them to help pay off college 20 years ago.

I've owned this one twice.

(both pic's from the web)

I really like the $200 one revstampman. Very eye catching design. Am I correct it seeing a double roman numeral "c" to indicate 200?

One thing Jubilee's stamp does for me,
is to send up a "warning" immediately.
That colour purple is beautiful to look at,
but don't put it anywhere near water.

You're right. Used ones look washed out.

There is an India Revenue, quite common,
I think it is a 1 anna issue in very light magenta,
I placed it in cold water for a soak,
then "She, who must be obeyed" had me doing chores,
(as they do)
I came back an hour or so later, and I had what looked to
be a blank perfed piece of paper.

Sperati would have been proud, he could have printed another stamp

Haven't had a chance to try it, but read something by someone who
worked with biological stains who said that putting vinegar into
the water when soaking purple stamps kept fugitive inks from running.
I believe he said that the idea came from working with eosin stain.
