I have a side collection of non-rectangular stamps. Most of them are diamond or triangle shaped.

Here are a couple of examples:

I have a catalogue & check list, called "Triangular Philatelics" by Chris Green 1998. This is a must for triangle stamp collectors. It includes triangles that are non-postage or "Cinderellas" as well.

There were around 3600 triangle stamps up to 1998 according to Greens Book.

The first stamp shown from Spain in 1930 was actually of private origin but was declared valid for 3 days only making it legitimate. Exists both perforated & imperforated.
The se-tent pair from Monaco are postage due stamps from 1953.

This is a great reference book! It is out of print, but because it was published by Krause, you can still find it at used bookstores and even new at bargain bookstores. While passing through a community, I picked mine up brand new for $1 about 3 years ago at a bargain bookstore. At that time, I saw 3-5 new copies still there.

I fell in love with these 2 when I first acquired them.

Personally, I like the Iceland gyrfalcon better. It was issued on January 1, 1930.

Thank you, Tina!

I wish I had your patience to scan so many stamps!

By the way, I didn't hear back from you since Labor Day, so I think maybe my email to you got lost again. I will send the email again tonight. Please check to make sure it didn't get tossed in the SPAM folder again.
