As I was going thru a circuit book this evening, I came across Turkey b120-121. This is the common design CD10 of 1967, Cogwheels. Then it hit me... This is a semi postal issue.

My question, are there any other Europa issues that have been used as semi=postals ?

Thanks

Bob, looking through the common design section at the
front of my 2004 Scotts, the Turkey issue above is the
only 1 with a "B" number, indicating semi-postal. This
covers the Europa Common Designs sets only 1956-1973 and
in 2000. It is possible that from 1974 on a not-common
design Europa was issued by someone, but I do not recall
seeing any. Jopie should be able to tell us. Mike in NYC

I checked with a Europa specialist. She confirms that the Turkey issue is the only semi-postal Europa, whether common design type or not. Among BOB, there are a couple of airmails, but no other semi-postals.

On the Turkey issue, a blue-missing error (missing Europa gear/emblem) does exist.

Bobggg, going thru Europa & CEPT stamps from '56 thu 2005 I do not see any other "B" stamps. there is one airmail stamp, Monaco C61 of 1962 -- it is not a CEPT stamp but "we" put it with those stamps as Monaco had some agreement with the stamp issuing countries. In 1994 Rumania had a C287a; it is a Europa stamp as CEPT no longer is on the stamps.
