OK, the envelope is stuffed with Aussie stamps and is ready to go... It just needs an address on it (plus a couple more stamps). The member who guesses the closest to how many stamps are in the envelope, without going over, will be the winner. One guess per member, competition closes midnight Thursday 6th March or earlier if someone guesses the correct amount. Good luck Steve

Hey Steve, isn't PIF meant to be first one to respond wins, and person who has won cannot win? Or has the rules changed for Stamp community? If so, I guess 83? |

As discussed elsewhere, there are very few rules to stamp collecting and IMHO (in my humble opinion) a PIF can be whatever the originator wants it to be.
In any case, my guess is 43 stamps! |

Come on guys, only a couple of days to go. There must be more than 2 of you out there, who have not won a PIF. Steve |

Laswabbie, your luck is like mine. Only 2 entries in the contest and you loose. I will be sending you some stamps anyway. nuit_boreale, you are the winner. Please e-mail me your address and I'll get them in the post next week. There are 150 stamps in the envelope. justabeginner, You would have won, with the closest guess, but as stated before you have already won a PIF. Thanks for entering though. Steve |

Wow, there were a lot of stamps in that envelope. I never would have guessed as much.
Now since I'm fairly new to all this, I just want to make sure I understand how this all works. Now that I've won PIF #8, do I only need to figure out a little contest for PIF#9 and find a prize for it?
And also, as a winner of a "Pay it forward" contest, that means I can no longer participate in any right? I heard somebody mention something about a (Level 2) in another post if I remember correctly. Does anyone know what that would be about?
Thanks.

As far as PIF goes on Stamp Community, you do not have to have a question or quiz. All I did was post a new topic PIF #__ and the first person to post to that topic won. Unless they have already won a pay it forward. See my topic of list of winners. https://goscf.com/t/647CONGRATULATIONS! LeAnn |

Thanks LeAnn.
Also, do I have to wait until I get the prize before posting the new contest? Or can I do that anytime?
Thanks |

Thanks Triggersmob,
I am now working on putting a prize together. As soon as that is done, I will post the contest. |
