Some of our older members may remember newspapers.

Does anyone have any Newspapers & Periodicals Stamps (PRs)?
Please post pictures of them.

Those are so cool! I really like that level of engraving and art work.

I have to agree with Dianne too!

Very nice, well-centered copies!!

I have very few newspaper stamps, mostly foreign. But I'm out of town anyway, so I can't scan and post.

Here are a couple of proofs of newspapers and periodicals stamps. These are the
only ones I have. I had a chance to bid on a beautiful complete set of newspapers
and periodicals proofs at WALPEX but I didn't have much to spend and missed out.

Thanks T.....

For most of my collection I prefer on cover items but sometimes I find things that look so nice I just can't resist buying them.....the detail of engravings printed on India paper is just amazing.

Austria again.

This time, the stamps are affixed to the Newsprint,
and the newspaper is printed <over> the stamps.
