thanks Kirk, sorry for being a blatant fan of star trek. I just grew up in that TV USA-environment (includes "Lassie" and "77 sunset strip". At that time we had the very first top of the line motorola B&W 24" TV console! took 5minutes to warm up, counts off with a big circle, also flatlines or pic goes diagonal everytime someone uses a flat iron or a local propeller plane passes by.

Then after Captain T. does his facial skirmishes and dialouge with the aliens...I go look at my stamps
never missed a show!
