Kiwi - I don't collect the area, but it was a toss up between the new Israel collection I just started and Australia/New Zealand and their associated islands or just the islands.

I've spent some time in New Guinea, New Zealand (Christchurch and area) and Tasmania (I never did get to mainland Australia) and I fell in love with the area. I have these recurring fantasies of winning the lottery and taking a one year tour of the entire down under.

The reason I chose Israel is that I'm doing a study of Holy Land history and archeology and it just seemed to fit. Maybe I'll head down south for a collection next year.

I have a number of the KGV overprints for the islands, and I like 'em. I definitely am not concentrating on Samoa, Cook Islands, etc., but I pick them up when I run across KGV and KGVI at nice prices. Some of them are very sharp.

I don't collect them in particular, but I do have some stamps from Samoa, Niue and Cook Islands. None from Aitutaki and Penrhyn though.

I definitely collect New Zealand and Niue. Have massive (understatement) stock and now accumulating Niue also.

Hope to do some online catalogs soon, to promote the interest in these two. Campbell-Paterson definitely has best format, though worse customer service.

Also do Canada, Switzerland, Indonesia, Germany (all including DDR) and a few others. Play with unusual US.. lol.

If you wanna do some kiwitalk, definitely interested. 'ave ah gud one, mate.

Hi,

Found a free Capt Cook Checklist.
Maybe you've seen it already, but if not...
