Yes mate 53 to go for the deuce,

Also If my wife allowed me I would have scattered boxes everywhere but no not to be so I keep them to a minimum and that's why I'm border line hoarder .

Danstamp..i guess there are two of us out there..i sort and sort through the same tubs of stamps..is it insanity ? No its just my form of relaxation..at least thats how I justify it..and also I can save my purchases for the better stamps out there !

Phil,
It's insanity only if you do the same thing over and over and expect different results each time!

Seriously, I know what you mean. New information from following some of the interesting threads here or a new article in Linn's has sent me scurrying back over my collection more than once. This nice thing for me is that now I know where to look!

A more focused appraoach does allow more of my stamp budget for better stamps!

Londonbus, congrats on your "bi-pillar" status! I haven't made "stump-hood" yet!

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.
I collect for enjoyment, not investment.

Spock,

It was a feeble attempt at humor. I don't have the posts to be a "pillar." I'm not even a little stump yet...

Sorry to confuse!

You go home immediately if you are not already there, you open your computer, go to the SCF website and post as many messages as you can having fun along the way.

Or just remain miserable for the rest of your life

Londonbus1....Been sitting too long !
