There's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

You using Kaspersky? If so go get an update, they're idiots.

Welcome Bowtie. The best course of action for you would be to try your local library. If they have a Stamp Catalog, you can read about Wallis & Futuna and get an idea for the value of your stamps.

Your stamps are beyond my (very small) knowledge, but someone here will give you an idea about the stamps and overprints. There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here.

By the way Phil, I don't think a post to SCF can be infected. An email, yes. Maybe even an entire website, but one post, very unlikely. But I'm glad you're on the on the ball

welcome. I say jump right in and start reading the past topics and see what catches your attention. Do you have an area or country that you are interested in collecting?

That is correct. Any string that could be used to do it is stripped from posts before they are entered in the database.

Well, no not really. A link could be sent that could infect you when clicked on, but that's true with any email, not just ones from here.

Welcome Rich,

I like collecting Wallis and Futuna Islands as part of my French collection (it's a French Overseas Territory).

Your stamps are from 1941-43 with the additional "France Libre" overprint (think WW II). The set starts with Scott number 94 and runs through 126 so there are several with the three New Caledonia designs. The expensive ones are 3c, 45c blue green and green, 60c, 2.50 Fr, 10Fr and 20Fr. I don't think you have those but check. the best I saw was the 5Fr on the bottom of your pic.

Most of the set is pretty common. You can build a nice collection from this territory but will probably have holes for the ones I listed.

I had to stand on my head to view the stamps. j/k I actually turned my laptop upside down. I think I have a few of those but without the overprints the 4,5,25 denom's with the tree and bridge.
