Recently, there was a post about a commemorative Texas Trails postmark being offered throughout Texas. I couldn't find the post!

I received my postmark, to-day:

Nice, eh? It goes in my Texas postmark collection. I like the little cowboy boot, with spurs, on the bottom of the CDS. I sent a note with my air postal card to be cancelled and received a nice reply back from the postmaster!

Now... if anyone has anymore mint air postal cards like this, or similar, that they can sell me, please do!

David

I can find the thread, but I still can't seem to find the envelope of 7c blues/reds that has your name on it!

That was my post David. I am glad you received your cover very nice. I am still waiting for mine, I just sent my cover out for servicing on Saturday. I am attempting to get all 52 postmarks for a complete set.

I do have some Texas postmarks already, but I wouldn't say I'm focused directly on the Lone Star State. I do like to collect postmarks for the scenic highways and byways of America. I have some for Route 66, Lincoln Highway. National Road, and soon the Texas Plains Trail. Heck I might even find some for Interstates. Then again I have begun getting Highway Post Office trip covers.
