This cover, mailed on June 6, 1907, is from the Superior Manufacturing Co. in St. Louis, manufacturers of the "Superior Petticoats."

It is addressed to Max Herskowitz, who arrived in Oklahoma City with his wife Hermine in 1891. They had 4 sons and 4 daughters. Max built a 12 story brick building and started the Herskowitz Department store. On November, 16, 1907, Oklahoma became the 46th state, so this cover was mailed while Oklahoma was still a territory.

The stamp on the cover is Scott #329, the 2c Founding of Jamestown, issued on April 26, 1907:

Hello T....

Decent territorial item, most had the stamps soaked off the covers.

Dianne....Stamped/embossed covers first came out in 1853.....Here's a look at my #U1, diagonally laid paper. Judge Bolling and son's later joined the Confederacy and organized "Bollings Company of Mounted Militia".
Second cover also from Montgomery, Ala. to same address, Greenville, Ala. with Confederate #11
Different spelling of "Boling/Bolling not uncommon from the 1800's.
