What is the status of this sheet please?
Are they listed in Stanley Gibbons?
Circa 1987 and listed in Scott?
I am wondering at what page/position, I place this in my US album.
Thanks

Issued June 10, 1978 Scott #1757 (a-h). I can't tell you the page number for your album, only that #1756 commemorates George Cohen (15c issued July 3) and #1758 commemorates Photography (15c issued June 26). It is a bit odd that the chronological order and the Scott number order for the George Cohen stamp are out of sorts. Does anyone know why?

You're welcome rod. Several times, I've come across Scott numbers that are out of order with chronological stamp issue. I still hope someone with more knowledge might be able to tell us why.

Hello......

The usual reason is that the order of release does not fit well with the alloted space arrangements........an eye-appealing page is more important than keeping every issue in order.

Nice block, rod.

You don't often see that Maple leaf in colors other than red -- at least not this month on NBC

Hi Guys,
Marty, Stanley Gibbons does that to its sets, sometimes spanning 5 years
a little frustrating to the new collector, I have always wondered why
the major catalogues do not put out a <simple> index book on issues
in value tablet---year--topic--cat num
Simple as that, one gets a 12c USA issue and a pole vaulter
you can catalogue it in seconds, then refer to the tome for details.

Kirk, enjoying the Winter Olymps, some very fit human beings running
around over there, you enjoy a beautiful country, I liked the "zip ride"
through the firs.

OK, whether or not we all would agree with this arrangement, it does make sense when considering eye appeal. Thanks.
