Hi
I thought I might add a scan of the front and back of this envelope. The cancellations are nice

Nice example of T = Taxe = Postage due.

Hi Rod222

Yes it is interesting, 1.3 centimes postage due, maybe it went via a French Colony, but they are no French Postmarks on the stamps.

Great thread. I have quite a number of these beautiful two colour stamps, but wasn't aware of the perf differences etc. Don't collect them, and have been trying to sell them off piecemeal (without a lot of success) but perhaps it's time to go back and revisit.
A new addition for my 'don't collect' album?

The centimes are gold centimes - a theoretical currency used for conversions of postage due. No French connection, apart from the language.
