I could have dropped a couple dollars on it. I also don't have a #1 or any stamps in the first few pages of my preprinted album. LOL.

khj - you sure are right there :-) The same can be said about me. But maybe that is why I am looking for "juvenile" looking stamps - since my better half is older than I am :-)

Years ago (25+??), I bought a packet of 300 spacefillers at a stamp show for CAN $20. It was a wonderful purchase, full of stuff I would never have set my eyes on otherwise. Lots of real bad copies of nice stamps. I have two collections (Collection #1 = Canada MNH, Collection #2 = piles of stuff) and I'm sure I'll never see another Australia £1 grey kangaroo in my piles of stuff collection. I'll happily pay 7 cents for a copy with a big bite out of the corner. Probably even 99 cents....
