Not Surprised Philby, I wanted to buy this (due to my ties with Gilbert & Ellice Islands) but it sold for $43.00 and lost :(

Hi Guys, let me see...it seems the Asian buyers have money to spend..i just worked for a weekly paycheck coward that I was...the Postcard I call "girl from Bali" I must have pulled it from an inexpensive box as I only pay for Guatemala postcards...it was mailed from Indonesia to Peekskill New York..the neighborhood of the infamous Bobgggg in 1938....

I know it's obvious, but in the case where someone doesn't realise it,
the Bali girl is a studio shot, you can see the drop sheet with the stairs painted on it, as the backdrop.
