I have a mint sheet of John Bassett Moore $5.00 stamps. (100 stamps total.)

I am getting ready to list it. One sold the 8th of this month for $750.00. That was the staring price.

Would I be foolish to list this at $600.00?

I should clarify. The one that sold was not mine. I found it by looking at completed sales. That one ended on the 8th of March.

I don't want to over or under price myself. Do you think I'm starting them too high?

Hi Tonya.....

$600.00 is definately not too much for that sheet as long as there are no gum issues or other faults....creases, finger prints........not trying to nit-pick but anyone spending that much would probably want to know. Posting large clear photos of both sides would reduce any hesitation a buyer might have and could increase bids if the sheet is in great condition.

I personally will shy away from sellers that do not show both sides of single items and small groups.

Good luck with your auctions..........and let us know how to find your items.
