Hi Tonya,
they are referred to as PERFINS or SPIFS

They are used as a security measure to prevent unauthorised use
by individuals working for companies.

Tonya, look closely and you will see the holes form letters and sometimes a design or symbol such as an anchor or company trademark. You're first stamp has "MBI Co" and the second "SND". At least it looks like a "D" with two holes in the center. Perfin specialists have catalogs that identify the companies from the holes punched in the stamps.
