Just wondering why no one has had their collecting interests listed in the "What Our Members Collect" Section. Granted after a few weeks You can pretty much figure it out. But, I still think it is a good idea to have your interests added.

I sent an email the day I started the Time Flies donation auction, and your post prompted me to check to see if it showed up. I'm now in there...I agree, can't hurt. |

I'm a worldwide collector with fluid interests and areas of concentration that can rapidly change or swing but I will try to give a general overview of my interests in a reasonable number of words in that forum. You're right it probably should be done because I went there to look for someone/something and was frustrated by the paucity of entries. |

I didn't notice the feature until I saw this thread. I'll be sure to get an entry in. Thanks for pointing it out! |

I would email my collecting specialities (giraffes are not the only, erm, fruit), but I guess because I have under 50 posts I'm not allowed access to the forum email system.
It would be helpful if the system could tell me this before I type out a long email listing my areas of interest, rather than afterwards! |

I also added my info to that area when I first joined. I might want to update it. On second thought most of that is also on my profile page. I find that is a great place to also put your collecting interests & information. |

I collect everything! Well, maybe that's too broad a statement. I collect U.S. pre-1940, and world pre-1940, but I prefer issues pre-1900. I am very fond of British Commonwealth KGV and earlier. I also collect in other fields, I actively collect gemstones and mineral specimens, so it follows that I collect gem and mineral stamps as a topical collection. I accumulate everything else. That about covers it, I guess. stampaddict |

Where IS the area? I can't find it. Have I been there before? I don't know. What day is it? |
