My April copy of this delightful monthly magazine has just landed.
After an initial quick look through, two things caught my eye that reminded me of Stamperdude and Dianne.
Stamperdude was very interested in obtaining copies of the GB Issue, 'Design Classics-Album covers' and I said I would get him all the available varieties.
Now there is another one....sort of !
The Bulletin tells me that Pink Floyd and Royal Mail have joined together on [another] money making venture and have issued a sheet of Pink Floyd's 'The Division Bell' stamp in a sheetlet of 10.
Can you believe it?
The stamp is the top left one of the set of 10.
No pic yet of the sheetlet.
The Bulletin gave out the results of the poll , voted by readers,for the best stamps of 2009.
In first and second place is a Concorde aeroplane and a ...er, well a London Bus !
Yes folks, 3 votes seperated the two at the top. Others from the set of 10 also did well.
But what has this got to do with Dianne ???
Well, Dianne just purchased some lovely stamp panes from me [see below].....so Dianne, if you are watching, you will soon have copies of the favourite two stamps issued in the UK in 2009.....the public said so !
Here is the series from the booklet panes. [Soon to be in Dianne's possession...yikes ! Maybe I need her permission !]
