These covers, just a sample, were made for me, by a fellow collector, who lives in Va.

I had told him that my 6 year old grandson was starting to get interested in stamp collecting, so me made me a complete set of covers, for each of the StarWars samps.

Sure beats paying the $19.95 the USPS ic charging

very nice covers! I really like the auxiliary markings that show that covers went through the mailstream.

Dianne & t360:

Thanks, and yes I agree that covers, especially FDC should go thru the mailstream. I started to dabble in US and Foreign FDC's, and I tend to shy away from the unaddressed envelopes.

I remember, going back to the early 60's, I would run to the hobby store, buy the FDC cachets, type my name and address, on the cover, and mailing them to the Postmaster, of the issuing city, along with 3 cents for each FDC.

Awesome Star Wars stamps! I bought a few sheets --one for me and then some for the grandkids. Now with my German stamps I got from a generous forum member as a freebie, and the stamps sent to me from a kind Aussie forum member, plus my stamp collecting book that I won on this forum, I'm one happy newbie stamp collector!. This is a great forum!

Your friend is very talented! I'm betting he could make a small but steady income producing covers for specialist collectors.
