Questions On Etiquette/Number Of Aauctions Allowed Here

I have been half living on these forums lately and have a high opion of the people here. I would much rather sell my stamps here at a lower price so I know they are going to good homes. I don't mind doing ebay (which I have been) but who knows who is getting the stamps! (Wow, I neve thought I would feel this strongly for my stamps! )

I, being the worry wart that I am, do not want to suck up a lot of bandwith and monopolize the auctions area. How many auctions (For my profit) running at one time would be okay? (I'm not thinking hundreds or anything, just don't want to annoy anyone.)

There is another benefit to me selling them here. Education. I know the members will give great information.

I plan on starting the auctions well below Scott value, listing my requirements for buying (type of payment, when and where to pay, etc.), and one picture suggesting the member emails for more photos.

What else do you all like to have for information? Pet peeves about auction listings here? Any other suggestions?

Tonya - I don't know that there is a magic number. I'm sure if you were putting too many on here one of the moderators would give you a gentle nudge. As long as you're having fun and others are finding items they like it seems like a good thing to me.

I also had those thoughts when I first started selling bits here at SCF !
My suggestion is do not overdo it. Space them out, do not continually run auctions or sales, and look to see what else is being offered.
Like Laswabbie, I think it's great. I would much rather buy and sell from someone here at the group than on an auction site as I know everyone and can trust them, and they can trust me too.[I hope! ].
Yes, and it's good to have the banter in the middle of those selling or auction threads, makes it more lighthearted and friendly somehow.

Would be nice to know others views on the subject.
