Hi guys,

I will be travelling to the U.K., Belgium, Austria, Germany, and France within 2 months. I plan to write my fiancee while travelling along the way and as early as now I am planning to get some unused stamps for said countries to prepare myself.

Any ideas where I could get said unused stamps on a cheaper price (or better yet free? hehehe)....

Thanks very much

Just hope that volcano stops first. Last time it erupted, it lasted a year or so back in the 19th century.

As for stamps, I remember that many of the U.K. towns had a stamp store, even some of the small ones unlike the U.S. Salisbury, U.K. had a nice stamp store with a very friendly dealer. It's been awhile so I'm not sure if he's still there. Try to make it down to Rome, Italy. It wasn't on your list, but they have a huge open air market on Sundays that sells everything and anything. I found some great stamps and cover sellers there that were very reasonable and open to haggling.
