The front of this postal card appear to be pretty mundane and standard. Nothing special for the most part.


But let's look at the back:


A copy cablegram is different, but I did some research on Jan Stanczyk and he was a Minister alright, but not a British minister. He was part of the cabinet of the Polish Govenment in Exile during WWII. He would later serve an early role in the United Nations. It's things like this that makes me happy and learn a touch more about history. It would be nicer if he hand wrote it, but sometimes you have to take what you get. Now to figure out who the others are on the card.

Interesting Battlestamps

I too find postal history quite interesting. A friend of mine who is also strong into postal history has a saying all the time that goes like this - - "Always take the second look". - and I would think that your card definately falls into that category.
