I just wanted to share these beautiful stamps with you all.
They are Australian from 1995. SG#1518 and SG#1519.
I think they are a couple of the nicest stamps ever made in Oz.
Soft pastel colours for the background and an opal that has a contrasting shiny finish that almost jumps off the stamp.

Trigger - I tried to send you an email but something kept going wrong. I got your package - THANK YOU. There were a few old favorites in there, and there were a lot of new friends as well. I really appreciate you thinking of me.

Those are some nice issues. I'd really like to start an Ausie and New Zealand collection, but my budget won't let me get much past my German and triangles collections right now.

Again, thank you!

Steve, are the opals holographic? Do they change colors when you move them around?

LaSwabbie, I'm glad you received the stamps. I don't know what went wrong with the e-mail, it has been working OK. When your ready to start an Aussie collection, just let me know. I'm sure I can start you off with a few hundred at no expense to the budget.

Modern_who, The opal is a shiny surface, but does not appear to be holographic
