Tom--It's great that you want to give them away! I personally am looking for an old full set post 1995, so if you ever see one in your travels for a fair price please let me know. As for a give-away, I think the set as a whole is invaluable to a collector. I suggest a contest that involves both factual and creative aspects and encourages more people to post on the site, no matter what their level of collecting! |

every time I find a stamp that looks good I have to post it here ive look all over ebay and the Internet sits for Australia but I can't find any stamp catalogs so if I can get a chance to get this set I will do my best in any contest for them And still have lots of fun too |

I hope this contest gets underway this weekend or I'm likely to miss yet another chance of winning those cool catalogs |

As for the contest, I do have an idea... "King of the pack" contest: Post a picture of a large, assorted lot of stamps (each stamp should be numbered and large enough--in the picture--to be identifiable). The winner would be the first one to identify the most valuable stamp (or the "king of the pack"). (Values could be determined using the catalogs given as prize.) For simplicity, the condition of the particular stamp depicted in the lot should not be taken into account while determining value (and, perhaps, only one type of stamps--used or mint--included). The larger the lot, the more fun it would be The rules could be: 1. A post can contain only one number. 2. Not more than 5 (or more, for a larger lot) guesses can be made by a member per hour. |

Justabeginner, have you considered changing your user name to "King of contests" Everyone else seems to look like a beginner when you are in one |
